I'm going to move this topic to the top section, because I think anyone who plays WC should deserve a chance to witness the awesomeness of XFire. I'll make an entire section dedicated to XFire, so people can post their names, games, etc. I'll work on it tomorrow. For now, I must sleep.

Xfire and Ventrilo both have their advantages/disadvantages. For instance me and my friends in RL pay for a vent server because we all game together. The reason for choosing vent in this case is it is more personable and we have all seen each other naked anyways so its no big deal. Xfire on the other hand is a handy tool like aim/msn/icq/irc but better and you havent seen the other person you are talking to naked so its less personal and more to buisness.

Also, Acuity. Stuff like that is best kept to yourself, no one needs to know how well you know your friends. However, you do make a good illustration of the differences. Vent is a dangerous thing to get into if you don't know the people you're hanging out with very well, you could just find yourself in an...awkward situation.
