Clan/Site Update!

OK, last night, our Clan TDoM disbanded. I still plan to keep the site up, even though there is no clan anymore...we all need to stay with each other. I know a lot of you will want to try to create a spin-off clan, go ahead. The beautiful TDoM is gone, maybe not forever, but gone. You may feel free to post your emails/xfires/new warcraft names.

I want to make my own computer...but that's not really all that cost-effective, just fun. I dunno what to do, cause I want a nice uber-processor and huge-ass hard drive (I have tons of media files).

Either way, I don't have nearly enough money to buy one. I was considering getting an iMac for a while...but they're way too expensive and not very good for gamers, so feck it.

Yeah, even my super Mac and Linux spokesperson friend says get Windows for gaming...


For a processor, if you want a super-dee-duper one you get a quad core, but that's a waste of money. I have a 2.66 ghz dual core, which is more than enough for all my games. So if you want something really good get 2.66 dual core, or 3.00 dual core... AMD or Intel doesn't really matter, my friend says AMD is better than Intel, but I still use Intel
2 gigs of ram is enough... But get a motherboard that has enough slots so that you could upgrade your 2 gigs to like 3 gigs or 4 in the far future.
Video card is less important. I suggest the nvidia geforce 8800 since you have Vista (it's dx10 compatable, and a new very good graphics card)

Not really..
I use an ATI Radeon 1650 pro.. Nothing special...
But everything runs so damned smoothly because ofmy processor and recently reformatted hard drive (maybe also the 12 zillion fans in my comp)

Just you try it with an ATI XPress 1150...ain't getting nothing outta that piece of ****.
